Leopards Invade Home in Gir Gadhada Village, Injure Woman, Son, and Forest Guard

Two leopards invaded a home in Gir Gadhada village of Gir Somnath district on Monday, July 11, 2023, injuring a woman, her son, and a forest guard.

The leopards entered the house through the roof and attacked the woman, her son, and the forest guard, who was trying to rescue them. The woman and her son were both taken to the hospital with injuries, but they are expected to make a full recovery. The forest guard was treated for minor injuries.

The forest department was able to rescue the leopards and release them back into the wild. The incident is a reminder of the dangers of living in close proximity to wildlife.
