India Suffers Maiden ODI Loss to Bangladesh in DLS Thriller

India suffered a maiden ODI loss to Bangladesh in a rain-affected match in Mirpur on Sunday.

Electing to bowl first, India restricted Bangladesh to 152 in 43 overs. Amanjot Kaur was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets for 31 runs.

In reply, India was bundled out for 113 in 35.5 overs. Deepti Sharma top-scored with 20 runs, while Marufa Akter picked up four wickets for 29 runs.

The match was interrupted by rain twice, with the final result being decided by the DLS method.

The loss is a major setback for India, who were looking to build on their recent form in ODI cricket. They will now look to bounce back in the second ODI, which will be played on Tuesday.
